The GFM and Saint John’s Arts have continued to work with Shademakers Carnival Company from the IOW to give young people the opportunity to learn Carnival skills and bring Carnival back to Gosport! After the success of our participation in the Queen’s Jubilee Pageant in London, the offer has been extended to include more GFM performers, who are currently being selected for participation and will be learning to operate Shademakers’ beautifully designed creatures, ready to parade them at the Christmas Lights Switch On event in the town centre.
