It was wonderful to again host parents and carers for our Biscuit and Read event.
Parents and pupils from Year 7 met for drinks, snacks and an Easter treat to read together from our wide range of library books.
The GFM Reading Team said: “This is a great way to foster a love and confidence in reading, whilst also offering parents and carers and their child to spend valuable time together. One parent said that it was ‘nice to have one-on-one time away from home with their daughter’ and that they really ‘enjoyed’ the morning. We look forward to our Year 7 morning at Bay House on Thursday 23 March and welcoming Year 8 parents and carers from Brune Park and Bay House next week. “
