Year 11 start Podding!
Last Thursday morning we launched GCSE Pod with our wonderful Year 11 students, to support them with their studies this year. We have been encouraging students to log in and explore the website – which is a multi-award winning digital publisher of in-depth curriculum knowledge for over 27 GCSE subjects. GCSE Pod uses audio-visual ‘pods’ (3-5 minute videos) that students can watch and listen to at their own pace, in their own time, helping them to cement what they already know, and get a head start on new learning.
Since Thursday morning, our students have watched a massive 2434 Pods, equating to over 116 hours of additional learning! We have been blown away by the response from our students who have been incredibly positive about the impact they feel it is having already. GCSE Pod can be accessed at www.GCSEPod.com or via the GCSE Pod App, which can be downloaded from app stores on tablets and mobile phones. If you haven’t already, please encourage your youngster to get podding regularly at home. Every pod adds up!
