The schedule for the Year 11 ‘how to revise effectively’ sessions on Thursday December 19, have been shared with Year 11 students today. The sessions will give students further ideas and practice to build on their mock experiences. We have built in feedback from our former Year 11s, and the important work of the ‘Learning Scientists’ – some really good resources for students, parents and carers: https://www.learningscientists.org/
There is lots planned in support of students for after the Christmas break (including some targeted work to complete during the holiday.) The schedule for Thursday is:

| Tutor bases | In lessons as normal | Year 11 students leave school at 10.30am and make their way to The Beacon Arts Centre (Bay House school site) | Year 11 students attend a ‘how to revise effectively’ session at the Beacon Arts Centre between 11.15am and 12.15pm. | Year 11 students return to Brune Park by 12.50pm for Christmas lunch if they wish to participate – served between 12.50pm and 1.30pm | Year 11 students leave site at 1.30pm for self-directed study following the session earlier in the day – beginning the Maths and English work booklets provided to them. |
