The schools section 5 inspection is now drawing to a close. Over 100 students have worked directly with inspectors from the Ofsted team, in addition to the many students who have been talking to inspectors during lessons and around the school site. Students have been frank and open about the progress the school has been making on our improvement journey, and hearing them talk with such passion and pride about themselves, their aspiration, their school and the Gosport community has been remarkable.
I pay tribute to the dedication and commitment of staff to the school’s journey of improvement that we have been able to share with the inspecting team, and also to thank staff for the pride with which they talk about our students, the school, the GFM and the Gosport community.
As a staff we continue to be so grateful for our positive partnership working with parents and carers and extended families. We are so grateful to parents and carers, and those across the community who have sent messages of support and encouragement, and the many treats into school during the inspection – this support means so much to each and every one of us but … it is working with your children, and with you that makes our job so special and so rewarding.
We will share the outcomes of the inspection with you as soon as we can.
