20 students from Year 10 Drama at Brune Park and Bay House took part in a cultural theatre education trip to Greece.
As part of the Erasmus and Tuning Scheme, the students worked with Year 9 and 10 students from the Manetaki School in Athens.
They spent time throughout the city visiting cultural sites such as the Acropolis and a visit to the ancient theatre of Epidaurus. They took part in Drama workshops with a specialist theatre practitioner for the Greek National Theatre and tour company Naxos Creative. Students performed a physical theatre performance inspired by Greek mythology and theatre in front of parents, staff and local dignitaries – including the Mayor.
A great week with some long lasting memories, experiences and friendships!
