Students in years 7 and 9 at Brune Park joined the GFM Science, Technology, Engineering and Maths (STEM) event today – meeting Titan the robot, experiencing a simulator and taking part in a wide range of ‘hands on’ activities. People from various ‘STEM’ industries shared with the students their roles, their expertise and experiences igniting enthusiasm and interest in the STEM subjects as a career path and/or route to further study. Students arrived back to school buzzing with enthusiasm and asking when the next event will be! Again the students proved to be a credit to themselves, their families and the school.
NB: Our apologies that a number of students were late back to school this afternoon as a result of a delay with the transport.
