As our new Grounds Assistant, you’ll be the behind-the-scenes hero who keeps our school grounds looking their best: safe, tidy, and ready for learning, play, and everything in between.

You will be a good communicator with a friendly and patient approach. We welcome individuals with a strong work ethic, organised and who have the ability to take the initiative to deal with problems as they arise. We are looking for individuals who have a positive, pro-active attitude and an ability to work both independently and as part of a team. A driving license would be advantageous.

This is a physical role and will, for example, require preparation and maintenance of playing surfaces, carrying  out line marking, conducting general maintenance of posts, nets, PE equipment, paths, grass and hard areas. Tasks will include mowing grass, use of seed, turf and fertilizers and waste products and the general maintenance/repair of fencing.

Some Saturday working may be necessary and applicants must be flexible and prepared to work some of their contracted hours at other schools within the Trust, as required.

We are looking for a School Clerk to Governors to join our vibrant secondary school community. As the essential link between our school and governing body, you’ll play a key role in ensuring that our governance runs smoothly, effectively, and in line with statutory requirements.
