Staying connected
We hope that you are all keeping safe and well in these strange and difficult times! When we are not together on the school site, we will keep in touch through ‘staying connected’ (with contact home with students and their families each week – checking in to see how you are, to see if you need anything, and to help as much as we can with your learning.)
Please keep reading! Use the Virtual Library! Ask us if you need books or resources!
We miss you when we’re not together!

The Safeguarding and Citizenship Teams across the GFM have worked collaboratively to produce a number of key documents, designed to help you to look after yourselves and keep each other safe as we continue to manage the global pandemic which may still include school or bubble closures.
Please also keep reviewing our ‘news feed’ where we have posted articles, links, ideas, advice etc.
- Peer on Peer Abuse
- Online Grooming and Cyber Risks
- Looking after our mental health
- Criminal/Sexual Exploitation – the online risk
- Spotting the signs – Increased risk of domestic violence through covid-19
- Signposting to support
Linked above are six documents we hope you will find useful and informative; a lot of the content will have already been discussed with your sons and daughters in PSHRE/Citizenship lessons. Please take the time to have a read through the information that we have provided, and we encourage you to check out some of the websites that we have suggested for additional help, guidance and support.
We send our best wishes to you all.
